Commentary

Providing commentary for the 13-ship ‘Freedom Formation’ team at the inaugural Pacific Airshow Gold Coast in 2023, has been a personal highlight of Angela’s career.

Avalon Airshow 2023 broke attendance records! 248,000 people over the 6-day event, with nearly 200,000 of those attending the public Airshow days. Angela provided Airshow commentary and acted as a roving TV presenter and interviewer for the on-site live broadcast feed.

Angela Stevenson was the first official female member of the commentary team at the Australian International Air Show and Aerospace & Defence Exposition (Avalon) in 2019. This six-day event is one of Asia-Pacific’s most prestigious aviation and aerospace events, and attracts close to 230,000 visitors.

Angela, a fiction and non-fiction author, excels at helping people tell their stories, be that through interviews or sharing stories. Her disarming and open manner is one of her strengths, which she also applies to MC work.
